Edesur Dominicana implements new facilities for the prepaid modality, by incorporating new and more accessible energy recharge points.
The company reported that as of January 1, 2026, some 200,000 customers benefit from the integration of more than 70 new charging points, with which the payment network available in the areas of concession of the distributor increases to more than 1,000.
The charging points are located in strategic places that will allow users to reduce travel times and purchase energy quickly, easily and nearby.
The measure will affect prepaid users in the National District and the provinces of Santo Domingo, San Cristóbal, Peravia, San José de Ocoa, San Juan de la Maguana, Bahoruco and Pedernales.
To facilitate the purchase of energy, in addition to pharmacies, grocery stores, minimarkets, supermarkets, bodegas, bookstores, banks and other establishments, commercial offices, express points and mobile units will be available.
The prepaid energy system allows customers to manage their consumption through top-ups that they can make when required, guaranteeing a constant supply 24 hours a day.
With the implementation of more alternatives for recharges, Edesur Dominicana reaffirms its commitment to incorporate innovative technological solutions, improving efficiency and optimizing the electricity supply.
