ETED will perform scheduled maintenance this Thursday, April 16th, at the Bonao substation and the San Pedro de Macorís line.

Santo Domingo.- The Empresa de Transmisión Eléctrica Dominicana (ETED) informs that this Thursday April 16 will carry out scheduled maintenance work at the 69 kV Bonao 2 substation and on the transmission line 69 kV San Pedro de Macorís-Cementos Nacionales, with the aim of strengthening the quality and stability of the service.

In that sense, at the 69 kV Bonao 2 substation, preventive maintenance will be carried out on the busbar from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. During this period, the electrical service will be interrupted in the communities of Maimón and Bonao, belonging to the province of Monseñor Nouel, as well as in the Zona Franca Dos Ríos. Similarly, deteriorating structures on the 69 kV San Pedro de Macorís – Cementos Nacionales transmission line will be replaced, during the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Due to these works, the electricity supply will be affected in the sectors Barrio Blanco, Barrio Enriquillo, Los Maestros, México, Cayacoa and Guavaberry, belonging to the province of San Pedro de Macorís. Likewise, in the companies César Iglesias, Destilería Brugal and Harinas del Higüamo.
