The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Thursday, January 22, 2026, as follows:
Financial entities established a buying rate of RD$71.95 and a selling rate of RD$76.23.
Comparing these figures with the previous day, an appreciation of the local currency of 0.15% in buying and 0.20% in selling is observed, given that the euro was trading slightly higher the previous day (RD$72.05 and RD$76.38, respectively).
Remittance and Exchange Agents reported slightly different price levels. The buying rate was RD$72.56, while the selling rate reached RD$74.62. As in banks, a slight daily appreciation against the euro of 0.07% in buying and 0.29% in selling was recorded compared to the previous day.
