Euro prices in the Dominican Republic for this Friday, August 22nd

The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic set the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro in the Dominican Republic for this Friday, August 22, 2025.

• For Remittance and Exchange Agents:

• The euro's buying rate was recorded at RD$70.79.

◦ The euro's selling rate was RD$75.26.

• For Financial Entities:

• The euro's buying rate reached RD$71.65.

• The euro's selling rate was RD$73.53.

Depreciation Analysis

Compared to the previous day, the euro showed a slight depreciation of -0.24% in buying and -0.21% in selling.

Compared to a month ago, the depreciation was more noticeable, with -3.19% in purchase and -3.17% in sale.

Since the end of 2024, the depreciation has been considerable, reaching -12.37% in purchase and -12.56% in sale.
