Film director Rob Reiner was found dead alongside his wife in their home in Los Angeles

Two people were found dead this Sunday in a residence in the west of Los Angeles that belongs to the film director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele, confirmed TMZ. According to initial reports, authorities arrived at the residence around 3:30 PM Pacific Time after receiving a distress call for medical reasons, and discovered the bodies of a man of approximately 78 years old and a woman of about 68 years old. The house, located in an exclusive West L.A. neighborhood, indeed belongs to Reiner, known for directing the film This Is Spinal Tap and for his extensive career in Hollywood as an actor and producer. Ten minutes after the arrival of the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), officers from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) arrived at the scene and began a formal investigation into the circumstances of the deaths.


Authorities have not provided details on the cause of death, and the investigation remains ongoing. However, TMZ reported that both suffered injuries consistent with a stabbing.
