Santo Domingo.- The General Directorate of Fine Arts (DGBA), together with the Directorate of Education and Specialized Artistic Training (Defae), announced the first call for entrance exams for new students in various art schools in the country, corresponding to the academic period 2026-2027.
This day includes the Fine Arts schools of La Romana, Cotuí, Moca, Azua and Puerto Plata, as well as the National School of Dramatic Art (ENAD), the National School of Dance and the National School of Visual Arts (ENAV), in different artistic disciplines.
The General Directorate of Fine Arts reported that the other art schools will announce their calls through their social networks and official website, so it urged those interested to remain attentive to the institutional channels.

The director of DEFAE, Elvis Guzmán, urged parents and guardians to remain attentive to official channels to complete the registration process.Likewise, he highlighted the impact of artistic training on society, noting that: "The arts are the engine that generates social change, and Fine Arts offers free dance, theater, music, and visual arts education in 15 provinces and 22 municipalities where the music academies of this institution are distributed.""We urge all parents interested in accessing the Fine Arts schools to pay attention to the institution's website and Instagram account, to register through the online form of the schools," Guzmán expressed.
