The official explained that these actions are part of a strategy developed together with the National Institute of Transit and Terrestrial Transportation (Intrant), the municipalities, and organized motoconcho federations.
Raful indicated that the National District and Greater Santo Domingo will be the first areas to be intervened due to the high concentration of accidents and incidents related to motorcycles registered in these territories.
“We are going to start working with those of the National District and Greater Santo Domingo, which has been the prioritized sector due to the number of accidents and incidents we have seen”, said the minister.
The official explained that the municipalities will have a fundamental role in the process, as they are responsible for granting the land use required for the installation of authorized stops.
