SAN PEDRO DE MACORÍS.- Richard “Manito” Bautista scored 33 points to lead a resounding 94-79 victory over the Soles del Este in the continuation of the LNB Super League, in a game held at the Rolando Ramírez sports complex.
Manito, who added 6 rebounds and 4 assists, had an explosive third quarter, in which he scored 18 points so that the Titans put their record at 7-8. The victory of the blues keeps them in the fight to qualify for the elimination phase.
Shaun Williams also stood out for the Titans with 14 points; Romeao Ferguson registered 11 units and 5 assists, while Randy Bautista and Xavier Reyes added 10 points.
The Suns, who are ending their season with a 2-14 record, had a special night, as it was the last professional game for their captain Manuel Guzmán, who scored 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.
