Azua.– Two minors sustained burns on different parts of their bodies after a man identified as José Beltré allegedly threw hot water at them during a wake held in the community of Mahagual, Azua province.
According to relatives of the affected children, the incident occurred while dozens of people were participating in the wake of a deceased woman in the aforementioned community. According to the testimonies offered by relatives, Beltré would have taken a pot of hot water and thrown it at the minors for reasons that have not yet been clarified, causing visible injuries to various parts of their bodies. So far, no official details have been offered regarding the health status of the minors or possible legal measures against the alleged perpetrator.
