INAVI will provide funeral services to DIDA collaborators; administrator highlights enrollment increase

Santo Domingo. – The Instituto de Auxilios (INAVI) and the General Directorate of Information and Defense of Affiliates to Social Security (DIDA) signed an inter-institutional agreement through which funeral services and economic assistance will be offered to the collaborators of that entity and their direct dependents.

The agreement was signed by the general administrator of INAVI, Dr. Elsido Díaz Bueno, and the general director of DIDA, Lic. Elías Báez de los Santos, with the aim of guaranteeing decent coverage in moments of death for the institution's employees.

During the event, Díaz Bueno highlighted that in his first year of management, INAVI has increased the enrollment of insured individuals by more than 100 percent, thus expanding the coverage and benefits aimed at public servants.

On his part, the general director of DIDA, Elías Báez de los Santos, thanked INAVI's initiative and valued the agreement as an important step to guarantee the well-being and support of the entity's employees.

The funeral plan contemplates a coverage of up to RD$25,000, with a monthly premium of RD$100 per affiliate. The inclusion of second-degree relatives such as grandparents, grandchildren, and siblings, and third-degree relatives such as great-grandparents, great-grandchildren, aunts, and nephews is also contemplated.

The agreement will be valid for one year, automatically renewable for the same period, unless notification is given by one of the parties at least one month in advance.
