Santo Domingo. - The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (INDOMET), forecast that this Friday, a mass of air with little moisture content will continue to affect, which will favor mostly sunny conditions over our territory. However, a weak trough over Haiti and the effects of the east wind will cause cloudiness in the afternoon and early evening hours, with isolated showers towards provinces of the slopes: northeast, Cibao valley, southeast and the Central Mountain Range. Concentrated mainly on: El Seibo, Hato Mayor, Monte Plata, Samaná, Santo Domingo, Sánchez Ramírez, San Cristóbal, San José de Ocoa, Monseñor Nouel, La Vega, María Trinidad Sánchez, Duarte and Espaillat. In the rest of the country, isolated cloud conditions will prevail.

Tomorrow Saturday, the weather conditions will continue to be dominated by the effects of the high-pressure system, limiting cloud developments and significant precipitation events over the national geography. However, isolated showers are not ruled out, at the end of the afternoon and during the night, over locations on the Caribbean coast, the eastern plain and the mountain systems; associated with the increase in wind speed and local orographic effects. In addition, increases in waves and wind speed are expected on the Caribbean coast.

It's autumn and, due to factors such as the northeast wind, as well as the occasional approach of frontal systems, temperatures feel cooler and more pleasant, especially during the night, early morning, and the first hours of the day. In mountainous areas and their valleys, the formation of fogs or mists is also common.
