Julio Iglesias denies accusations against him and states they "cause great sadness"

The Spanish singer Julio Iglesias categorically rejected the accusations made by two people who previously worked at his residence, assuring that the accusations against him are "absolutely false" and have caused him deep sadness. In a statement posted on his social media, the artist denied having engaged in abuse, coercion, or disrespect towards any woman, and expressed his regret for what he called a serious offense to his honor and reputation. "With deep regret, I am responding to the accusations made by two people who previously worked in my home," he stated.

Iglesias stated that he had never experienced "so much evil", but assured that he maintains the necessary strength for the truth to come to light. In that sense, he expressed his determination to defend his dignity against what he considers unfounded accusations.

The interpreter of hits like "Fuiste mía" and "ni te tengo ni te olvido", also publicly thanked the numerous expressions of support he has received following the dissemination of the case. He highlighted that the messages of affection and loyalty sent by friends, followers, and close people have provided him with comfort in the midst of the situation. “I still have the strength for people to know the whole truth”, expressed the artist, who did not offer additional details about possible legal actions, but made it clear that he will face the accusations with firmness.
