Miami.- The iconic Nike Kobe 6 'Grinch' sneakers, which Kobe Bryant wore in the 2010 Christmas game against LeBron James' Miami Heat, were put up for auction for a minimum price of 10 million dollars by the trading platform Joopiter, owned by the artist Pharrell Williams.
The green, scaled footwear originally led to it being known as 'Green Mamba' due to the player's nickname, but its debut at Christmas led to the colloquial nickname 'Grinch', a furry, green creature that originates in literature and hates this festive season.
The global sales director of the trading platform, Caitlin Donovan, told EFE that the minimum selling price is 10 million dollars.
The sneakers, which are autographed, were displayed this week along with other Bryant collectibles in a Beverly Hills (California) store, for potential buyers to see.
