Las Galeras, Samaná. – The mayor of the municipal district of Las Galeras, Ana Reyes, continues to execute the public lighting project, a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening citizen security, optimizing night mobility, and improving the quality of life of the residents.
As part of this plan, and with the technical support of the company Luz y Fuerza (@luzyfuerzalt), preventive and corrective maintenance work was carried out, in addition to the installation of new luminaires in various sectors of the community, directly impacting public spaces, main roads and residential areas. Mayor Ana Reyes highlighted that adequate lighting is a fundamental element for crime prevention, orderly urban development, and collective well-being, especially in tourist-oriented communities like Las Galeras.
