SANTIAGO. – The Minister of Housing, Habitat and Buildings (MIVHED), Víctor –Ito– Bisonó, is carrying out a work agenda this weekend in the provinces of Santiago de los Caballeros and Santiago Rodríguez as part of the permanent follow-up to the works and projects carried out by the institution in different parts of the country.
The day began in Santiago with a visit to the El Papayo sector of La Ceibita, in Barrio Pekín, where he supervised the work being carried out to restore tranquility to families in the community by repairing their homes and improving their living conditions.
The interventions, carried out by the Rapid Action Brigades of the MIVHED, include roof, floor, and painting repairs, benefiting families in vulnerable conditions and responding to a request made by the neighborhood association of the sector.

During the tour, Bisonó spoke with residents and beneficiaries of the intervention, including María Cruz, 80 years old, who highlighted the impact of the work carried out on her home, especially with the arrival of the rainy season.
