Santo Domingo. – The Office for the Reordering of Transportation (OPRET) reported that the Santo Domingo Metro service was fully restored at 7:20 pm this Wednesday, after a breakdown that temporarily affected the section between the stations Mamá Tingó and Hermanas Mirabal, in Villa Mella, Santo Domingo Norte.
The incident occurred after 6:00 p.m., causing the momentary suspension of service only in that segment of Line 1. In a statement, OPRET thanked the understanding of the affected users and assured that the situation was handled in a timely manner by the technical staff, without representing any type of risk for the passengers.
