La Altagracia. - Punta Cana Airport (PUJ) has obtained Level 3 of the Customer Experience Accreditation awarded by the Airports Council International (ACI), in recognition of its ongoing commitment to improving the experience of its passengers. This distinction, which is part of ACI's global accreditation program, evaluates and certifies the strategies and practices implemented by airports to offer exceptional service and maintain high customer satisfaction standards. The certification will be valid for one year, from August 7, 2025 to August 6, 2026, and consolidates the leadership of Punta Cana Airport in the region as a benchmark in passenger care and service.

"On behalf of all ACI, we congratulate you on this achievement and applaud your dedication to improving the customer experience," said Raquel Carvalho, Assistant Manager, Customer Engagement and Administration at ACI.

Likewise, the airport obtained 4 stars from Skytrax, a quality approval seal awarded to airports that offer high-level facilities and services verified through audit visits, where everything from its infrastructure, processing services, ambiance, and level of experiences that passengers go through are validated. In the case of Punta Cana Airport, an exhaustive 3-day audit was carried out, where the functional facilities and services provided by the airport for its passengers and visitors were put to the test, as well as the ambiance and type of experiences enjoyed through its facilities.

Among the outstanding improvements is the renovation of the interior and expansion of the check-in area, exceeding the standard compared to other airports, improvements in seating accommodations, facilities for families, improvements in infrastructure and commercial and gastronomic offerings, and the systems implemented for the agile processing of passengers. "These achievements reaffirm our commitment to continue innovating and perfecting every aspect of the airport experience, always putting the passenger at the center of our actions," said Giovanni Rainieri, Airside Operations Director of the airport. With these recognitions, PUJ continues to position itself among the most outstanding airports in Latin America and the Caribbean, aligned with the best international practices and focused on offering a safe, efficient, and memorable travel experience.
