With the score tied and one out in the bottom of the tenth inning, Devers hit a line drive to center field that drove in the winning run, crowning a spectacular comeback by the Boston team, which wore its "Fenway Greens" alternate uniforms, in honor of the legendary "Green Monster".
Boston also relied on solo home runs from Jarren Duran, Wilyer Abreu, and Abraham Toro, the latter with a hit to the bullpen in the fifth inning that started the comeback. A defensive error by Gunner Henderson and a ground ball by Nick Sogard in the sixth inning allowed them to tie the score 5-5.
Devers remains hot in May, starting the day with a .419 average and solidifying himself as the leader in RBIs (47) in the Major Leagues.
For the Orioles, Mexican Ramón Urías stood out with a two-run double in the first inning. However, Baltimore stumbled again and has accumulated 10 losses in its last 11 games, in addition to seeking to avoid its third double sweep of the year.
