Santo Domingo. - The national deputy of the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD) Ramón Raposo has become the voice of the municipality of Santo Domingo Norte in the National Congress.
Despite his national agenda, the congressman has placed special emphasis on promoting the social, economic, and cultural development of Santo Domingo Norte, considered the fourth largest and most populated municipality in the country.

From his seat in the Chamber of Deputies, Raposo has taken on an active legislative and social agenda for the benefit of the municipality of Santo Domingo Norte, through the presentation of bills and resolutions aimed at promoting the progress and development of this demarcation.
Within the initiatives introduced by legislator Ramón Raposo in the National Congress, a bill stands out that seeks to have Santo Domingo Norte declared an ecotourism municipality, considering that it meets all the conditions for a pilot plan to be implemented by the Ministry of Tourism, allowing a minimum of the 12 million tourists entering the country to visit this demarcation and enjoy its attractions, thereby boosting the economy.
Raposo has also submitted about 10 resolution projects to the Chamber of Deputies aimed at contributing to paving, road solutions, the reduction of traffic accidents, the construction of hospitals and the repair of educational centers.
The congressman has implemented a hard work of outreach with the more than four hundred neighborhoods and urbanizations that make up the municipality through community leaders, politicians, presidents of neighborhood councils and sports and religious leaders, through the implementation of working tables with the interest of seeking solutions to the problems of the communities.
Raposo has developed a schedule of visits to the media presenting the realities, strengths, and weaknesses of the municipality of Santo Domingo Norte and denouncing the abandonment of the authorities in the search for solutions to the problems that afflict the residents.
The deputy has implemented a series of programs through which he has trained 4,500 young people on the importance of environmental projection and care, and has guided about 1000 entrepreneurs through the realization of courses and workshops in different areas.
