They reported that the families residing in this community face increasingly precarious conditions, characterized by the constant overflow of wastewater, accumulation of solid waste, and the progressive deterioration of access roads. This situation not only affects the mobility of residents, but also represents a serious health and environmental risk.
The president of the Neighborhood Council, Wilson Herrera, denounced that the sewage system has reached a critical point, where black waters are surfacing, generating persistent bad odors, contamination in common areas and an environment conducive to the proliferation of bacteria, insects and diseases.

"Children, older adults, and people with pre-existing health conditions are particularly vulnerable to this problem," she said.
Adding to this serious situation is the terrible state of the streets, which have sinkholes, cracks, mud accumulation, and widespread deterioration that hinders vehicular and pedestrian traffic. On rainy days, the roads become practically impassable, say the municipal authorities.
Similarly, the community members denounced the inefficiency in the garbage collection service, which is carried out irregularly and insufficiently, causing the accumulation of waste in different parts of the residential area.
This problem further aggravates sanitary conditions, generating contamination hotspots, bad odors, and the proliferation of pests, which directly impacts the health and well-being of families.
“We are living in conditions that undermine our dignity as citizens. We have exhausted different avenues to channel this situation, but so far we have not received a concrete response from the competent authorities. We need urgent actions, no more promises,” Herrera expressed.
