Santo Domingo. – As part of its commitment to the continuous improvement of the country's airport infrastructure, the company Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI (Aerodom) began the rehabilitation work on the main runway of Las Américas International Airport, one of the most important air terminals in the Dominican Republic.
The project includes a comprehensive intervention of the pavement, as well as the updating of horizontal signage and other key components, with the aim of ensuring higher levels of safety and efficiency in aerial operations.
The work will be executed by the construction company Ingeniería Estrella and will have the technical support of institutions such as the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (IDAC) and the Airport Department (DA), who will supervise compliance with the established standards.

As planned, the works will be carried out in stages over several months, allowing the continuity of operations at the air terminal without affecting the regular flow of flights.
