Send another note related to the disappearance of journalist Savannah Guthrie's mother

Los Ángeles.- The new message about Nancy Guthrie, the mother of journalist Savannah Guthrie, co-host of the TODAY morning show on the NBC network, who has been missing for six days, was sent this Friday to a television station in Arizona. The Tucson television station KOLD would have received an email about the case of the 84-year-old woman, bringing the total to four received, according to sources cited by NBC News. The FBI is working to confirm whether the note comes from the same sender as a first ransom note that referenced Guthrie. This Friday marks the sixth day that Guthrie's whereabouts are unknown, last seen on the night of Saturday, January 31st, at her home north of Tucson. The FBI offered this Thursday a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to finding the woman or to the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance.

Authorities have warned that Guthrie is considered "a vulnerable adult" with walking difficulties, who uses a pacemaker and needs daily medication for a heart condition. Since the investigation began, the police have considered the case a crime, after the doorbell camera at Guthrie's house was disconnected, software detected the presence of a person, and Guthrie's pacemaker application showed that it had disconnected from his phone. Additionally, there were signs of forced entry found at the residence located in the Catalina Foothills neighborhood, amidst a desert area north of Tucson. The case has sparked much speculation and at least three ransom notes sent to media outlets were reported before the one sent this Friday. The FBI reported this Thursday that a person has been arrested in connection with a "fraudulent ransom demand".
