Santo Domingo.- With the purpose of fostering a culture of accountability from an early age, the Chamber of Accounts of the Dominican Republic (CCRD), through its Social Control Department, celebrated the investiture of 617 students who participated in the educational program Yo Rindo Cuentas.
“Nowadays, many of those who manage or have managed public resources, when accounting, instead of returning what is missing, justify the absent funds. But the right thing to do is to act as the patrician Juan Pablo Duarte did,” expressed Vice President Tamárez Florentino, who represented the president of the Chamber of Accounts, Emma Polanco, during the ceremony.
