Panama's President, José Raúl Mulino, said on Thursday that he will meet with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, "at a forum," without giving further details.
"I still have to add some topics, of course, which I will refer to the crises in Ukraine. By the way, I have a meeting with President Zelensky, a small forum that we are going to have," the Panamanian president announced during his weekly press conference.
Mulino announced that meeting with Zelensky while citing the possible topics he will address during his intervention at the UN General Assembly, to be held next week in New York. However, he did not give more details of that meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart.
Panama abstained last February during a UN assembly to vote on a resolution demanding the withdrawal of Russian military forces from Ukraine, according to local media.
