Santo Domingo. - For today, mostly stable and favorable conditions will prevail for outdoor activities in a large part of the national territory, due to the limited incidence of a frontal system located over the Windward Passage. Only weak and isolated rains are expected, mainly in provinces of the northeast and southeast during morning hours, while, in the afternoon, very isolated showers could occur in some sectors of the southwest and Central Mountain Range, according to the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (INDOMET). Tomorrow, Thursday, sunny in the morning, however, an increase in cloudiness will be observed during the afternoon, due to the influence of an almost stationary frontal system and its trough. These conditions will favor the occurrence of weak rains in southeastern provinces such as El Seibo, La Romana, and La Altagracia. During the afternoon, the rains will continue to be weak and isolated, affecting El Seibo, San José de Ocoa, Azua, Santiago Rodríguez, Dajabon, San Juan, Elias Piña and Independencia, and could continue at night in an isolated manner in some locations of Santiago, Valverde, La Vega, Duarte, Hato Mayor and other points on the north coast.
