Puerto Plata.- The lawyer of Wander Franco, Teodocio Jáquez Encarnación, will study a device to determine the future of the player and awaits the full sentence after this Monday the court exempts the player from punishment through a judicial pardon, considering that he was also a victim within the process that was being followed for alleged child sexual abuse.
Upon leaving the Tribunal Coleiado of the Judicial District of Puerto Plata, the jurist explained that the decision offered by the judges was an oral summary, so they are still waiting to receive the full sentence to analyze in detail the grounds of the ruling. "The president of the court established that he was also a victim and, therefore, exempts him from punishment with judicial pardon," expressed Jáquez Encarnación to the media. The lawyer insisted that some interpretations spread on social media have generated confusion about the scope of the judicial decision, assuring that many comments arise from misinterpretations of the ruling issued in court.
