Santo Domingo.- A rescue team made up of 8 people is searching for a missing young man identified as
Víctor Alberto Roque Ariza, 29 years old, who was last seen on Tuesday, September 9, in the vicinity of the 30 de Mayo sector, Distrito Nacional, in front of the Licona Store Home Licor establishment, near the
Vista del Mar park.
The
Lieutenant Colonel Méndez of the National District Fire Department, stated that they have been in the Malecón area of Santo Domingo since early this Wednesday, conducting a search after being notified of the disappearance of the young man
Roque, where his black Honda Accord vehicle, license plate A971072, was found nearby, along with his wallet, all his documents, and his cell phone, which suggests that he voluntarily abandoned the car.
"Today we did a tour with three divers in the water with the support of the navy boat in the area and we will continue searching until we have information about it," he stated.
I emphasize that there is no evidence that he threw himself because no one saw him.
It is recalled that in the complaint, relatives indicated that several handwritten letters were found in their room in which they asked for forgiveness and said goodbye to their mother and siblings, which raised alarms about their emotional state, as they were recently going through a depressive episode due to the loss of their job.
The family requests the collaboration of the public to find the whereabouts of Víctor Alberto Roque Ariza and asks that any information be communicated to the competent authorities.
