Cotuí, Sánchez Ramírez.— A group of young people, mostly led by women, held a peaceful demonstration on Tuesday night in Duarte Park in the municipality of Cotuí, demanding justice and transparency regarding the so-called SeNaSa case, which has sparked protests and debates nationwide.
The demonstration took place in an orderly manner and without incident, under the preventive surveillance of National Police officers, who remained at the scene to guarantee public order.
With banners and slogans, the participants demanded that the judicial authorities act impartially and without privileges in the investigations into alleged irregularities that would have affected funds destined for the public health system.
