San Juan de la Maguana.- Members of the Dominican Republic Army arrested in San Juan de la Maguana, a man who was hiding undocumented Haitian immigrants in the trunk of a vehicle.
The car driver was identified as Juan Manuel Berroa Lerebour, who, aboard a Nissan car, model Note, gray color, license plate AA62768, was hiding three Haitians in an irregular migratory condition, two of whom were found in the trunk.You may be interested in: Defense Minister supervises border posts and reiterates continuation of the wall
The soldiers at the Guanito checkpoint, in the aforementioned province, took the detainee, the vehicle, and the undocumented foreigners to the General José María Cabral Fortress, E.R.D., for the corresponding processes.
