The announcement was made by its director, Héctor Romero, who highlighted the importance of the move towards an international audience and connected with the events of the Dominican Republic from anywhere in the world.
"Today we are launching this product that is part of the Alofoke Media Group family, it is our newspaper in English, and the statistics indicate that our largest readership is in the United States," Romero said during his speech.
The executive explained that, due to the accelerated growth the medium has experienced in its almost four years, they have initiated an investment process with the aim of expanding its international reach.
