Remains of photojournalist Milton González are being watched over at the Gresefu funeral home

Santo Domingo.– Amidst expressions of grief from family, colleagues, and friends, the remains of the renowned photojournalist Milton González, who passed away after several years of battling health complications, are being mourned. The wake is taking place in the golden chapel of the Gresefu funeral home, located on Padre Castellanos Avenue (La 17), in the National District.

Since the news of his death became known, multiple communication professionals have highlighted the human quality and professional dedication that characterized González during his career behind the lens.

The Association of Photojournalists of the Dominican Republic, of which he was an active member, deeply regretted his death and remembered him as a brave man who faced his illness with fortitude and dignity. “His departure leaves an immense void in our guild and in the hearts of those who shared his friendship and professionalism”, the entity expressed in a statement. González is survived by his wife Elisa Ferreras, his daughters Nikauly and Massiel González, as well as several grandchildren, siblings and other relatives, who have received expressions of solidarity at this time of mourning.
