Euro prices in the Dominican Republic for this Monday, August 18, 2025

A survey of the foreign exchange market conducted by the Central Bank has set the average buying and selling prices of the Euro in the exchange and remittance agents of the Dominican Republic for this Monday, August 18, 2025, as follows:

• Purchase Rate: RD$70.30

• Sale Rate: RD$74.83

For their part, the Financial Entities presented the following rates for this Monday, August 18th.

• Purchase Rate: RD$71.23

• Sale Rate: RD$73.19

Regarding its recent performance, the euro has shown a constant depreciation in the segment of currency exchange agents and remittances.

• Compared to August 14, 2025: A depreciation of 0.36% in purchase and 0.37% in sale.

• Compared to 1 month ago: A more pronounced depreciation of 2.58% in buying and 2.66% in selling.

• Since the end of 2024: Depreciation is accentuated to 11.76% on purchase and 12.07% on sale.

• Compared to 1 year ago: A depreciation of 9.37% in purchase and 9.84% in sale is observed.

The depreciation trend is also evident in Financial Entities:

• As of August 14, 2025: Depreciation of 0.15% on purchase and 0.20% on sale.

• Compared to 1 month ago: A depreciation of 2.63% in buying and 2.55% in selling.

• Since the end of 2024: Depreciation reaches 11.62% on purchase and 11.68% on sale.

• Compared to 1 year ago: The euro has depreciated by 9.79% in buying and 9.89% in selling.
