PN executes multiple arrest warrants in La Vega and Jarabacoa in less than 24 hours

La Vega, R.D. – The National Police, through its different investigation divisions, executed multiple arrest warrants in less than 24 hours in the provinces of La Vega and Jarabacoa, achieving the capture of individuals linked to events of high social impact. In the Villa Rosa sector, José Alberto Alcántara Rosario (a) El Puerco was arrested, accused of inflicting a stab wound to the throat of a man in a fast food establishment, which caused serious injuries to the neck and chest of the victim.

During the patron saint festivities of El Palmarito, Edily Joaquín Núñez was arrested, accused of seriously injuring a woman, who remains admitted to the intensive care unit. In Jarabacoa, Fernando Severino Rodríguez (a) El Nuevo and Junior Bodre Adame were arrested, accused of stripping a construction worker of RD$332,000.00 and a firearm, after withdrawing the sum from a banking entity. On the other hand, Jesús María Ramírez Rosario was captured, following reports of constant threats and psychological abuse against his ex-partner, in violation of Law 24-97 on gender-based and domestic violence. Also in Jarabacoa, Fernando Tiburcio Delgado was arrested, caught with several belongings stolen from a house in the Hato Viejo sector. The case that generated the most attention corresponds to the capture of "El Puerco", accused of attempted murder in Villa Rosa, due to the severity of the injuries caused and his criminal record.
