MINERD extends by one week the deadline for the Self-Management of the Institutional Teacher Account

Santo Domingo.- The Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic (MINERD) announced the extension by one working week of the deadline to complete the Self-Management of the Institutional Teaching Account, corresponding to the Teacher Performance Evaluation process 2025.

The measure aims to ensure that all teaching staff can activate and validate their institutional account without affecting the following stages of the evaluation. According to the MINERD, this account is the official means of communication between the institution and the evaluated teachers. The decision was made by the Steering Committee for the evaluation, chaired by Minister Luis Miguel De Camps, during a meeting held on November 16th. During the additional period, teachers who have not yet completed the process can access the portal www.aci.minerd.gob.do and follow the required steps. Technical support will be reinforced through the Teacher Help Center, available at 809-688-9700 on various extensions. The MINERD reported that, in the case of teaching technicians, it will coordinate with the National Association of Education Professionals and Technicians (ANPROTED) and the district, regional and central headquarters instances to follow up on the activation of institutional accounts.

The ministry urged teaching staff to complete self-management within the established deadline and reminded them that account activation is an essential requirement to continue with the evaluation process.
