Doncic and Antetokounmpo lead the voting for the NBA All-Star Game

NEW YORK.– Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo lead the fan voting for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game, according to the most recent report released this Tuesday by the league.

The Slovenian Doncic, a figure for the Los Angeles Lakers, leads the Western Conference with a total of 2,229,811 votes, the highest figure recorded to date. In the Eastern Conference, the Greek Antetokounmpo, of the Milwaukee Bucks, holds first place with 2,092,284 votes. The All-Star Game will be played on the next February 15 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, home of the Los Angeles Clippers. The fans' voting, which will remain open until January 14, represents 50% of the selection process for the starters, while the remaining percentage is divided between players and a panel of journalists. For this edition, the event will premiere a new format, in which international players will integrate one of the three participating teams, while the other two will be made up of American players. The teams will face each other in 12-minute matches, with a final of the same duration.

So far, the third-highest player in terms of support is the Serbian Nikola Jokic, from the Denver Nuggets, with 1,998,560 votes.

In the Western Conference, also among the most voted are Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City Thunder) and Victor Wembanyama (San Antonio Spurs). Meanwhile, LeBron James occupies the eighth position with 1,059,855 votes. In the East, New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson is the highest-ranked American, with 1,916,497 votes, followed by Tyrese Maxey (Philadelphia 76ers), Cade Cunningham (Detroit Pistons) and Donovan Mitchell (Cleveland Cavaliers).
