The deceased was identified as Vidal Ortiz Quezada, who resided in the upper part of this city and worked for the company in charge of garbage collection in San Francisco de Macorís.
According to preliminary information, Ortiz Quezada was traveling aboard the truck when, for reasons not yet clarified, he fell onto the pavement, suffering serious injuries that caused his death.
Emergency units and relevant authorities arrived at the scene, who carried out the body's removal and initiated the corresponding investigations to establish the exact circumstances of the tragic event.
