The management that begins to work will focus over the next two years on four strategic axes: city positioning and brand; development and diversification of the tourist offer; articulation, training and quality; and promotion, alliances and sustainability.

"With these strategic points we seek to boost segments such as cultural, health, religious, gastronomic, sports, ecological and events tourism," explained Sánchez when detailing the priorities of the plan.

The directive also includes Yomaris Gómez, vice president; Kenia Rodríguez, secretary; Germán Ulises Polanco, in charge of finance; and the vocalists Luis Felipe Rodríguez, Deyanira Pappaterra and Luciano Aybar. The team brings together representatives from the public, private, academic, cultural and financial sectors. The Santiago Tourist Destination Cluster reaffirmed its commitment to work in an articulated manner with the Ministry of Tourism, the Municipality of Santiago, and other key actors, with the aim of positioning the city as a destination of authentic experiences with national and international projection. As part of the event, recognitions were given to Ramón Paulino, former president of the Clúster Santiago, and to Edmundo Aja, CEO of the Hodelpa hotel chain, for their contributions to the development and strengthening of tourism in the region.
