President says those involved in SENASA will have to return every last stolen peso

President Luis Abinader reported in his Accountability on Friday that he instructed the public heritage recovery team to ensure that the State recovers every last peso stolen from the National Health Insurance (SENASA).

"Do not rest until you achieve it," the leader ordered the team for the recovery of public assets, who were present in the National Congress.

He also pointed out that as long as he is President of the Republic, there will be no hiding places, no complicit silences, and no power above the law.

"In cases of corruption, such as that of Senasa, in which the government has become a civil actor, the guilty parties will not only have the full weight of the law upon them, my commitment is that they will have to return every last penny of what was stolen," the President said emphatically.

It is recalled that last December, a judge imposed coercive measures on the ten arrested in Operation Cobra, the identification name of the SENASA case, while the Public Ministry promised that it will continue working tirelessly so that they answer for their actions before the courts, for their criminal actions, all those involved in the case of administrative corruption that affected the affiliates of SeNaSa.
