Anderson de los Santos: urge construcción de puente en Don Juan ante impacto de lluvias en Monte Plata

Monte Plata.- El dirigente político Anderson de los Santos reiteró el llamado al Gobierno para la construcción del puente sobre el río Ozama, en el distrito municipal de Don Juan, al considerar la obra como prioritaria para garantizar la comunicación y el desarrollo de la provincia.

De los Santos explicó que, aunque actualmente existe un paso provisional que ha permitido mantener el tránsito, esta solución no es suficiente frente a las constantes crecidas de los ríos producto de las lluvias.

Advirtió que otras localidades, entre ellas Mamatingó, La Guázuma, Juana Tevi y Yabacao, permanecen incomunicadas debido a la falta de infraestructuras adecuadas, situación que ha afectado incluso la asistencia escolar.

“El puente que estamos solicitando no es un lujo, es una necesidad. Es la vía que conecta el centro productivo de la provincia y garantiza el acceso seguro de nuestras comunidades”, expresó.

El dirigente destacó que la construcción de esta obra representaría una solución definitiva a una problemática histórica que se agrava cada vez que se registran fuertes precipitaciones.

Asimismo, llamó a las autoridades a acelerar los procesos para la ejecución del proyecto, señalando que su ausencia mantiene en vulnerabilidad a cientos de familias en la provincia.

Las lluvias que afectan a Monte Plata han puesto en evidencia la urgencia de reforzar la infraestructura vial, especialmente en zonas propensas a inundaciones y crecidas repentinas de ríos como el Ozama y el Guanuma.
