Santo Domingo.- The businessman and CEO of Alofoke Media Group, Santiago Matías, demanded a rigorous investigation and exemplary sanctions from the authorities for the death of the young driver David Carlos Abreu Quesada, who was stabbed after a traffic accident in this city.
Matías described the event as "regrettable" and called on the authorities not to ignore these types of situations. "We cannot be oblivious to social cases, to the injustices of this country. We are not a country of savages", he expressed.
The businessman also requested the intervention of the Attorney General of the Republic, Yenni Berenice Reynoso, so that the case is analyzed in depth and does not go unpunished.
According to the information provided, Abreu Quesada was working when the traffic accident occurred, after which he was attacked by a mob of motorcyclists who inflicted fatal injuries.
Likewise, Matías urged the director of the National Police, Andrés Modesto Cruz, to investigate and sanction the agents who allegedly did not provide assistance to the young man when he went to a detachment in search of help.

With a simple communication, that death could have been avoided," said Matías, visibly indignant.
