Drugs, cash seized, and "Boca Chula" arrested in raids in La Vega

La Vega. – Members of the Regional Sub-Directorate of Investigations of the National Police, in coordination with the Public Ministry, carried out a raid in the Hatico sector of this city, where a woman was arrested in flagrante delicto, to whom narcotic substances, cash and other evidence linked to illicit activities were seized. The detainee is Yaribel Chantal Antigua García (a) “Boca Chula”, who was arrested during the execution of search warrant No. 2026-AJ0042956. During the intervention, 559 portions of a rocky material presumably crack were seized, with an approximate weight of 316 grams, as well as a portion of a white powder presumably cocaine, with an approximate weight of 119 grams.

In addition, the authorities seized the sum of RD$1,098,500.00 Dominican pesos and US$22.00 U.S. dollars, as well as a cell phone, a notebook with notes related to payments and debts, a DVR equipment and two scooter-type motorcycles. The National Police reported that the detainee and the seized evidence are under the control of the Public Prosecutor's Office for the corresponding legal purposes, while investigations into the case continue.
