Santo Domingo.- A minor of 15 years was arrested by the authorities, accused of allegedly robbing and stabbing on at least 10 occasions an evangelical pastor, in an event that occurred on December 31 in the sector Las Colinas de Arroyo Hondo, in the National District.
The victim, Irvin Nina Núñez, aged 47 years, was found in an agonized state and rushed to the Dr. Vélez Santana Hospital, where she underwent surgery to save her life.
According to preliminary information, Nina, a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of San Cristóbal, was working as a driver for the Uber platform at the time of the incident.

The minor, allegedly involved in the act, was captured by cameras of the National Emergency and Security Attention System 9-1-1, whose images are part of the evidence collected by the investigators. The case has generated consternation in the religious community, which has united in support of the pastor's family and has offered prayers for his recovery, while requesting that the judicial process be carried out in accordance with the law. One of the aspects that has most moved public opinion is that, after remaining five days in a coma, the pastor woke up and asked that the accused teenager not be mistreated, also exhorting to pray for him.
