Washington D.C. – The President of the Dominican Republic held a meeting this Tuesday with the United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, with the aim of addressing key issues on the bilateral agenda between both countries. The meeting took place within the framework of an official visit aimed at strengthening diplomatic and strategic ties.
During the meeting, both parties discussed issues related to regional security, trade, democracy, and strategic cooperation.
The meeting is part of a series of efforts by the Dominican government to position the country as a key partner in the region, committed to democratic values, security, and shared economic growth.
"Today, I met with the Secretary of State to address key issues on the bilateral agenda between the Dominican Republic and the United States. We discussed regional security, trade, democracy, and strategic cooperation. Strengthening our international relations is an essential part of our vision for the country," stated the president.
