During her visit to her hometown, Carolina acknowledged Cibao's contributions to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), its leadership in free zones, formal employment, commerce, construction, and higher education. "In this region there are more than 400 free zones, 40% of formal employment is concentrated, and commerce has grown sustainably," she emphasized. The also general secretary of the ruling party explained that her political project is based on a national plan with strategic axes focused on national security, the strengthening of sovereignty, education, health, job creation, and respect for the environment. "We have a clear vision of the future and are prepared to lead with responsibility, efficiency, and human sense."

Are there conditions for a woman to lead the State? Faced with that question, Mejía responded: “The question of power and the direction of the State is not a question of gender, exclaimed Carolina Mejía, but of preparation, skills, ethical principles, moral values and the political will to serve the Homeland and I am ready to fulfill that responsibility and that consecrated duty.”

The political leader also emphasized that the PRM has the strength to remain in power beyond 2028, as long as it maintains unity, listens to its grassroots, and renews itself with clear ideas and firm purposes.
