Frequent blackouts affect Dajabón; residents demand a response from Edenorte

Dajabón. – In recent days, the electrical service in this municipality has presented constant failures, a situation that keeps its residents indignant. According to unofficial information, the problem would be related to the overheating of a transformer, which causes frequent interruptions, mainly at night.

Among the most affected sectors are La Bomba, El Asilo, Benito Monción and part of the city center. The community members point out that, despite paying for the service, they are not receiving energy continuously, while billing remains high. Citizens called on Edenorte to offer a definitive solution, improve the quality of the electricity supply, and adjust billing, as they claim they cannot continue to endure this situation.
