In three motorcycles, 7 undocumented immigrants are detained in Montecristi

Three other undocumented foreigners were left abandoned on a motorcycle in Dajabón Montecristi. - The Dominican Republic Army, following actions aimed at reducing the trafficking of immigrants, detained seven undocumented immigrants who were traveling on three motorcycles in Montecristi.

Through patrols carried out in La Soledad alley, in the municipality of Guayubín, ERD patrols intercepted three motorcycles, brand X1000, model CG150, Tauro, model CG200, and a Súper Gato, model CG200, all driven by undocumented individuals, who were transporting other Haitians in the same irregular migratory condition.

Undocumented Immigrants Detained in Dajabón

Also, in Dajabón, members of the Army, assigned to service in the Santiago de la Cruz detachment, stopped a Super Tucano motorcycle, whose driver abandoned the vehicle with three undocumented Haitians. The 10 undocumented foreigners will be handed over to the General Directorate of Migration (DGM) for the corresponding purposes.
