Santo Domingo.- The Permanent Attention Office of the National District imposed an economic guarantee this Tuesday, as a coercive measure, on former judge Juan Francisco Rodríguez Consoró, recently arrested after being accused of threatening his partner with death, in events that occurred in the El Millón sector of the National District.

According to the Public Ministry, which had requested imprisonment for Rodríguez Consoró, the events occurred on December 5, 2025, when the accused uttered death threats and insults against the victim at his residence, a conduct that was documented through audiovisual records incorporated into the process. The Public Ministry also established that, days later, the defendant reiterated threatening expressions related to causing the victim's death, which were communicated directly to a close family member. As a result of the violence inflicted, the victim presents psychological effects including anxiety and sleep disturbances that impact their daily functioning, according to the forensic psychological report issued last December 26th.
