Pharmacy employee assaulted during delivery in Mirador del Este

Santo Domingo Este. – An employee of the Farmacia Carol chain was the victim of a robbery on Thursday night while making a delivery in the Mirador del Este sector, in Santo Domingo Este.

According to witnesses and those close to the situation, the incident occurred around 10:00 PM, when the worker was about to deliver an order to a home. At that moment, he was intercepted by armed strangers who stole his motorcycle, the order he was carrying, and his cell phone.

So far, the authorities have not offered details about the incident, although it is expected that in the coming hours the National Police will offer an official statement. Neighbors in the area have reported an increase in criminal activities and requested a greater police presence, especially at night, when robberies targeting motorcyclists and delivery workers intensify.
