Reports of a wave of robberies in Cabirmota, La Vega, a few kilometers from the police station

La Vega. — Residents of the Cabirmota, La Vega community, located just 5 kilometers from the Las Canas barracks, are alerting about an increase in insecurity in the area. According to reports, a man was the victim of a robbery in front of his home, where criminals took cell phones, cash, and personal belongings.

“I am writing to ask for your help, the wave of robberies in this area is strong. Last night in front of our house they took our cell phones, cash and clothes,” reported one of the affected people.

The neighbors expressed their frustration at the lack of response from the authorities. They indicated that, after calling the local precinct and 911, they were redirected to a police number that did not answer, leaving the community without immediate assistance in the face of criminal acts. The situation has generated concern among residents, who are asking the authorities to reinforce security in Cabirmota and guarantee a rapid response to emergencies to prevent further incidents.
