They denounce that CAASD exposes citizens with unsafe work in SDO

Santo Domingo.– Residents of Hato Nuevo, in Manoguayabo, denounced that the Santo Domingo Aqueduct and Sewerage Corporation (CAASD) is carrying out works without applying the necessary safety measures, putting the lives of citizens at risk. The complaint arises after a vehicle fell into a ditch opened by the institution on the night of last Saturday, leaving the driver with minor injuries and the car with serious material damage.

The residents claim that the hole remains without signage to warn passersby and drivers of the danger, a situation they fear could cause a major tragedy.
The CAASD authorities were called upon to immediately correct this negligence and to establish safety protocols in all works to prevent similar accidents.
